I know. As a matter of principle I didn't want anyone's face in there without their consent. This place was also really big, with some 70 different dishes to choose from. I'm not a big buffet fan, but it was free, so we checked it out. I really did like the beef with pickled ginger - it had as much ginger as beef! A lot of the rest of the stuff was not good at all.

Well, it sure is a bit bigger than a bingo hall now. We resisted getting a card because someone warned us waiting at the sign-in desk that we'd get bombarded with mail. I had no interest in bingo either - which is still a big deal there - because there seemed to be waaaaay to many things to learn. Just slots, which we won ($65). We'll maybe come back in another 10 years.

Joanne, is any buffet something to write home about? Now, Taste of Minnesota used to have as smorgasbord in downtown St. Paul. It was pretty darned good, but it's gone by the wayside.
