I made this dip for last week's Superbowl party. It was a big hit!
- 1 16 oz. container sour cream
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning (your favorite)
- 1 8 oz. pkg. your favorite cheese: cheddar, Mexican blend, etc.
- 1 small can refried beans (your favorite)
- 1 small tomato, diced
- 1 small can sliced black olives
- 2 green onions, sliced
- fresh cilantro sprigs for garnish (optional)
- Mix sour cream with taco seasoning. Set aside.
- Spread beans on nice large plate or platter. Top with sour cream mixture.
- Layer with beans, and cheese and top with tomatoes, black olives and green onion.
- Garnish with cilantro.
- Cover tightly and refrigerate at least 30 minutes for best flavor.
- Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.

No secrets, David!
We had fish sticks and a salad. I stuck with just eating the salad.
What are legumes? How do you prepare them?
I get bored with salads as well. But I really couldn't think of much to go with the fish sticks. Without making a separate meal. So, I had salad.
You cook them like you do beans.
Let me search for each and post the link.
