Hello everyone you are not going to believe it but I have never made Pulled Pork until tonight. The Reason because I thought it was going to be really hard. Guess what? I was totally w
rong.
I started off by putting about a 3-4 pound pork roast in my crockpot this afternoon on high after covering it with water. Remember I got up late. I put it in around 2:00 and took it out about 6:00.
Here it is tranferred to a pan for shredding.

With two forks I started shredding.

It went much quicker then I thought it would.

Here it is in the pan getting all warmed up with some Bar-B-Q sauce. 2 jars with about a 1/2 cup of water I used to shakes out the jars. My mom taught me not to waste.

I would have loved to serve it with coleslaw but we didn't have any so fresh veggies and dip took the place.

Here it is a close up.

Now when Dennise asked what was for dinner I told her pulled pork. She said I don't like it. I then asked where have you had it, she said school. I told her this isn't the schools, this is Mommy's. She said she would try. Guess what? She loved it.
Now that I know how easy it is I will have to keep my eyes open for more sales so I can make a big batch pork up freezing in baggies so when ever we want it I can just take out the bag, add sauce, warm up, and presto pulled pork. Can't wait for Dennis to get home so he can try it. Sure hope he enjoys it as much as everyone else did.

Good job as always Pamela!!! We are going to look at all the pics now. You documented it beautifully.
I also like to add banana peppers to my pulled pork to add a bit of zing.
What type of BBQ sauce do you like best?
My favorite bbq is Eastern Carolina.
