I got this recipe from my Aunt Barb, and made a few changes to make it my own. I love this stuff!
1 head broccoli, broken into small pieces
1/2 pkg bacon, chopped and cooked crisp
1/2 cup chopped red onion (I used about 1 t onion powder in place of the red onion)
1 cup shredded cheese (I used Mexican blend)
1 cup salad dressing
2 T vinegar
sugar to taste
salt and pepper to taste
Place broccoli in a large bowl. Stir in bacon, onion and cheese.
In a small bowl, combine salad dressing, vinegar, sugar and salt and pepper, stirring well. Add dressing to broccoli mixture and toss gently.
Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
