Would You Eat One of These?

As it heats up outside, I try and come up with some snacks and meals that do not heat up the whole trailer. I also like to try and get good deals when I can.

I luckily had some coupons. One was for a free pizza with one topping, another was 50% a large pizza with one topping, and a free coupon for cinnamon squares. Yummy!

I tend to eat alot of fresh fruits and veggies.

Here is boyfriend's lunch and ready to be packed for the evening. He works 2nd shift at a local cold food storage plant. I wish to say he makes good money. But it is through a temp service. So, he works strenuous hours for minimum pay.

Quick snacks may include : Tortilla chips with left over sloppy joes to use a dip

Or how about French Fried Green beans with ranch dressing as a dip?

Or try deep fried "Blue Hack" with tartar sauce?

Or try a cool sandwich. Such as Egg salad or Cucumber and Mushroom on honey turkey?

Which one of these would you choose?

My boyfriend work anywhere from 10 to 12 hours 5 to 6 days a week. He always comes home hungry and wants more. I don't think he has come home with out eating all th efood I have sent unless he was sick.

Lol..I know a bunch of non mushrooms eaters. None of my kids will eat them.

I am a pizza fanatic
I don't get pizza often cause my boyfriend and I are lactose intolerant. And pizza just doesn't taste well without cheese.

You have a lot of cool choices there. I hope that when your b/f time as a temp. is over he gets on full time. My son in law does that and makes a nice living.
I hope he gets in full time as well. I know he will have to be there a couple of months before it gets offered. He will gain a pay raise if it happens.

Holy crap I never noticed that. Yeah its my number and last name. Gonna go fix that real quick. Thank you for pointing that out. I am truly thankful.
It has been edited. Boy this just tells me I need to get my bum in gear and get a pair of glasses. The print on the receipt is hard for me to see....to small. I need to stop putting it off.

I would go for the French Fried Green Beans. Never had Fried Green Beans so i would be happy if you could pm me the recipe. Looks soooo yummy and I love beans
I can't share as a recipe as I don't have one. These ones I bought through Schwan's food company. They don't cost that much and alot comes in the bag. Schwan's had a special going on when I bough them. I just pop them in the oven to fix them. The label also calls for a fry daddy or pan fry. I did neither. As I rather bake when I can to have less oils and such......health wise.

same here I rather use the oven. Always have loved fried meatballs or burgers. Now when I make them from scratch I pop them in the oven for 30 minutes and they are as yummy as out of the pan and that nearly fat free as I only put a little oil on the aluminium foil so they wont stick.
I cook alot in the oven that way. I think it is much healthier for my family. I already have high cholesterol. So, I am trying to instill a healthier way of eating for the kids I still have at home.

we love to use that baking foil to roast meats in the oven. No cleaning and no mess. And no added fats. I am glad my husband doesnt reject these healthier ideas of cooking.

Never had french fried green beans either. First time I ever heard of them! Hope he gets hired too!
French fried are really good. It is the only way my youngest boy will eat green beans.

Sad to say he didn't get hired in. My boyfriend is currently in between jobs again. But all the bills are paid. So, I can't complain.
