This is a great cookie--if you can find someone to make them -- or if you like to bake. They are buttery and good.
Preheat Oven to 325F for 20 minutes.
What you need:
- 1 Stick of Butter
- 3 TBSP of confectioners powdered sugar
- 1 cup of sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of finely chopped pecans
- Confectioners powdered sugar
In a medium bowl, cream the butter and the 3 TBSP of confectioners sugar. Stir in the flour slowly until well blended. Then stir in the pecans until well blended.
Chill the dough in the refrigerator over night or long enough for you to handle the dough (usually several hours).
Once chilled, roll the dough, using a teaspoon of dough at a time, making them into balls.
Place them on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 for 20 minutes or until Golden Brown.
Take cookies out of the oven and let cool about 5-8 minutes; then remove carefully. Roll each cookie in confectioners sugar and set on a plate while still warm--and cover them generously with confectioners sugar.
Let them cool completely and enjoy.
(To store them--best to use wax paper between layers).
I don't have any pictures of this cookie but when I do, I'll upload the picture.
