I made these bars for dessert a while ago and am just now getting to the recipe. They were GOOD!
I don't recall where the original recipe was found.
2/3 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 eggs
2 t vanilla extract
2 cups flour
2 t baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
11 1/2 oz bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
In a small bowl, beat butter, peanut butter and sugars til combined and creamy.
Mix in eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Mix in vanilla.
Beat in flour, baking powder and salt til combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
Press evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
Bake til browned, about 40 to 45 minutes. Place on wire rack. Cool completely before slicing into bars.
