Recently Voskos Greek Yogurt was mailing out coupons to try their crunch yogurt for free. So I submitted my information and low and behold I recieved 7 coupons for free product.
Went into my local AJ's (think expensive grocery store I would never normally shop at) in order to redeem my coupon because they are the only ones in my area who carry that name brand. Unfortunately the Crunch yogurt is not one of the lines they carry. (Crunch being a tub of yogurt with granola that you add).
Thankfully, AJs did let me redeem for the cheapest of the Voskos line that they carry. So I paid 3 cents for a yogurt that normally costs 1.69. (Tax on food here).
Now, if you are a person who likes a lot of fruit and sweet taste in your yogurt, this is not the yogurt for you. It definitly has a bitter, but slightly sweet taste. The size of the tub the yogurt comes in is at least twice the size of most of the other yogurts on the shelf. One tub of yogurt is over 200 calories though, so if watching your weight, make sure the yogurt is not thought of as a light dessert.
Overall, I would say I do like the Voskos product. It's filling and I don't mind the not-so-sweet taste of it. I'm not a huge yogurt fan, so maybe I'm not one to judge... but it was good. If it weren't for the price, I'd probably buy it more often at regular price.
But now that I've tried two of their flavors - honey and strawberry - I have 5 more coupons to go... anyone have any good recipies I can use with my 5 more yogurts?
