What's for dessert? Mom's brownie chocolate...

Mom made this simple recipe a few weeks ago. It's one of the best brownie bars I have ever eaten. Delicious!

1 box brownie mix
1/3 cup oil
1/4 cup water
2 eggs
16 oz. pouch chocolate chip cookie mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1 container chocolate frosting

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Spray bottom of 13x9" baking pan with cooking spray. Set aside.

Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Spread in prepared pan.

Make chocolate chip cookie mix as directed on pouch. Drop dough evenly onto brownie batter; press down to push cookie dough slightly into brownie batter.

Bake 35-40 minutes or til a pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool 30 minutes.

Frost bars with frosting and cut into bars.

that looks tasty we had pineapple upside down cupcakes with strawberries and bananas added on top and then put on some cool whip and caramel topping
