This chicken turned out quite yummy!
- 1 T brown sugar
- 2 T honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 t powdered ginger
- 2 t chopped garlic
- 2 T Sriracha or regular hot sauce
- salt and white pepper to taste
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 1/2" strips
- cornstarch for dredging chicken
- vegetable oil for frying
- hot cooked white rice
- Mix together brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and hot sauce in a small bowl.
- Lightly salt and pepper the chicken strips.
- Dredge in cornstarch. Tap off excess.
- Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium high heat. Add chicken strips and brown on both sides. Remove from pan and keep warm.
- Add sauce to pan and simmer til the sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to pan and heat through.
- Serve chicken and sauce over rice.
