Campbell's Select Harvest: Light Minestrone with Whole Grain Pasta

I've reviewed a few of Campbell's soups on here before. I remembered that one was successful while one was... definitely not.

However, that didn't stop me from buying up a few more. Being that I am going out for a 3-course dinner tonight (yay Restaurant Week!), I knew I needed a lunch that was very low-calorie (aka low in Weight Watchers points) but filling. I typically hate any non-Gazpacho in the summer, but my office is freezing, so I figured soup would be ok.

I looked at the selections I had at home and opted for one I hadn't tried - Campbell's Select Harvest: Light Minestrone with Whole Grain Pasta. Sounded intriguing (obviously, since I bought it!).

It was definitely filling (so... full...) and was very tasty!! It was not overly salted. I'd say it had a good amount of salt (could have even used a bit more, or perhaps a bit of some other seasoning) and it had a nice mix of texture - between the veggies (carrots, zucchini - which I am usually not a fan of, but which weren't so bad, red peppers - interesting, spinach) and the orzo and... what's this? Lentils! The mix of lentils (some were hard, some were soft) and pasta was great in terms of flavor and texture.

I would DEFINITELY buy this one again! And for 2 Weight Watcher points for the entire can??? What a great option for a healthy, filling meal!
