This sounds absolutely fantastic! If I had bacon on hand I would make this tomorrow.

I would leave out the cheese, however. Cheese with the sweet syrup just doesn't go together in my mind. I would probably also broil it at the end to ensure the bacon gets nice and crispy. Nothing tastes worse than rubbery bacon.

It's fantastic, just like Katie says. It's pannycakes with maple syrup IN them, with sausage, egg and cheese as a sammich or you could do bacon, and then it'd probably taste like this. Heart attack and heaven on a bun, all mixed into one.

I hate when syrup even touches my eggies. It's one of the few things I do not combine.

It's not even really that much syrup ... but yeah. If you don't like those things to touch, then you might not like this.

oooooo, I LOVE McDonalds, McGriddle. They are goooood. I love eggs with chili and cheese. I love eggs and bacon drowned in syrup. I'm not a picky eater, I even like rubbery bacon. LOL! It seems that all of us just DO NOT like the same things when it comes to food. About the only foods I hate are beets, cooked carrots and sushi. I have a friend whom does not like any of her foods to touch on her plate.

Interesting idea, bet I'd like it.
I like my bacon "rubbery" LOL. Except on sandwiches etc., then I prefer it a little more crispy... ;-)

I'm with John. I like my bacon a tad "rubbery" too. Only time it should be crispy is when it's on top of loaded mashed potatoes.

This actually sounds delicious to me. I love bacon with my pancakes and I love to clean the syrup off my plate with a slice of sharp cheddar cheese. I'd have to come up with a low carb and fat solution to eat this now. :(
