The last two weeks on the road doing stand up have been great except for the hecklers. And I realized that hecklers and political conspiracy theorists have a lot in common. All comedians have a bag of tricks to deal with hecklers, but believe me when I say it's the last thing we want to do. Hecklers ruin comedy shows for everyone. A comedy show is a dance between the comedian and the audience. it's a dance of give and take that requires a certain cadence and rithym. As far as I'm concerned a heckler screwing with a comedian would be no different than someone walking up to a performer playing a guitar and plucking his strings in the middle of a performance.
Like the heckler the political conspiracy theorists wants more than anything to be noticed. And both will do anything to ge that notice. Even if it means humiliating them selves.
So if you're one of those people who think heckling is a normal part of going to a live comedy show, do everyone a favor and stay away from comedy shows. No one wants you there, especially the comedians.

The fact that you assume because I was a little agitated by some hecklers that I got booed off the stage just shows what a jackass you truly are. You are such a dullard Jeff, the reality was that I ripped the hecklers to pieces my friend. In fact I'd love nothing better than to have YOU show up at one of my shows and "try" to heckle me. Nothing would give me more pleasure than humiliating you to the point of causing you to want to blow your brains out.
