How to Enter
- If you're not already a member, first join the group Family.gather.com. Click here to join!
- Share your post– which can be an essay or poem that is anywhere between 250 to 1,000 words– by following these quick steps:
- Click "Explore" at the top of any Gather page, select "Share" and then select "Share a Post".
- Under "post tags" include "moment". Under "Who Can View This Post" you must select "Everyone" and under "My Groups" select the "Gather Essentials: Family"* group.
- Click "Publish".
All entries must be received by 11:59pm ET on August, 15, 2008. The Gather Editorial Team will choose the Grand Prize Winner, who will receive a $200 American Express Gift Card.
