So here it is. The first of many recipes. This paticular recipe is a variation of that old staple, meat loaf. I mean really, whose ideas was it to just bake a giant loaf of hamburger and put ketchup on it?
Things you'll need to make this:
1 Onion -yellow or white, whatever floats your boat. I prefer Vidalias
3Â Green Onions- I call them chive onions
3 pounds of hamburger
Tblspn of minced garlic
salt and pepper
CHEESE!!!! Don't care what kind, as long as YOU like it, and it melts good.
Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce
Bread Crumbs/ Crackers/ Stale Bread- One of these will suffice
Notice there isnt any ketchup listed here?......don't worry
Big Bowl, and some hamburger. Just dump it in there
Take the onion and green onions and chop 'em up real good. I believe the ladies call this "minced"
Add 1/2 a cup of onions , 1/2 cup of green onions, 1 1/2 cups of bread crumbs, 1 big ole' tblspn of minced garlic, 1 cup of Sweet Baby Rays, and about 1/2 cup of Worcheisterieirerer (WTVR) sauce, salt and pepper (whatever your'e into I use 1 tblspoon of each). DUMP IT ALL IN THE BOWL AND GET DIRTY! that means mix it all up really really really good with your hands.
 Step Four
Once you've got it good and mixed up, smash it flat like a pizza (see picture)

'Member the cheese? Lay it in the middle there (see the picture above)
Roll it up! Like a big meat burrito! MAKE SURE YOU CLOSE UP ALL THE SEAMS WHERE YOU FOLDED IT! OTHERWISE IT WILL LEAK CHEESE EVERYWHERE!!!
Put it in the bread pan. Yes the bread pan, trust me. (See the picture) Put some Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce on top and spread it around evenly (NO KETCHUP!!! KETCHUP IS THE DEVIL)

Put it in the oven at 375 for about an hour. You will have to drain the grease from the pan, depending on what kind of hamburger you use. If you mix it with deer burger, or chuck, it wont be as greasy.
Take it out and EAT IT!!! See the picture

Now that you know how to make "Man Loaf", you need to know that a good dark beer or red wine is the best to drink with this. I prefer China Silk red wine, and my friends prefer Shiner- Course, we live in Texas. Let me know how it turns out. Start to finish this whole deal takes about and hour and fifteen minutes. My kids love it, my wife demanded it for her BDay dinner, and well I'm a guy- Cheese and hamburger meat with BBQ Sauce? yeah, its that good.......
